The Cincinnati Burger Tour Begins at Zips

The very first stop of the Cincinnati Burger Tour was Zips cafe in Mt. Lookout. Famous for their hamburgers and onion rings Zips was a cozy location that was able to accommodate our large group … with some advance warning. Normally crowded, Zip’s Cafe was certainly busy the night that we were there and we were fortunate enough to have thought ahead.

We take pride in our scientific measuring of each stop so that we not only have a frame of reference but also have a consistent yardstick to compare each venue. Below is the raw data from our evening. The lone N/A was a result of a substantial mustard stain on the review sheet. We wanted to be as fair as we could and instated of trying to decipher the writing and condiment mix we simply threw it out.

Indeed Zips scored very well. We sampled a number of different sandwiches including singles, doubles, and metwurst burgers. The onion rings in particular drew rave reviews from everyone that tried them. It is clear that no matter what you order you are assured to have a great meal!

Welcome to the Cincinnati Burger tour. The tour is a collection of friends who are searching for the best hamburger in Cincinnati. We have created a solid and dependable evaluation system and are scouring the Tri-state for the best the region has to offer.

We are experts at eating. Collectively we have nearly 400 years of eating experience. More importantly we like what we eat, and are eager to share it with you. In the coming weeks and months we will post not only our findings, but also information about ourselves so that you can understand where our palates were groomed, and the damage we did to them over the years.

Most of all we are friends. We like each other. We like eating. So naturally we sought out an excuse to ge together and eat.We look forward to bringing you, our loyal readers, our findings.
